ABS(Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene)plastic is an easily machined, tough, low cost rigid thermoplastic material with high impact strength, ideal for turning, drilling, milling, sawing, die-cutting, shearing .

Can be used in conjunction with the digital embroidery machine. 

Colorflute is the original coloured corrugated board. It laser cuts extremely well and can be used to create packaging, cards, etc. The corrugated finish gives objects both structural strength and an interesting texture. Colorflute is available in A3 sheets.  

Doming resin can be applied to vinyl stickers to create cufflinks, phone chalms, key rings etc. 

The centre keeps a small stock of electrical and electronic components for use with projects.

Glass can be etched using the laser cutter. 

Cheap cost effective material that is suitable for many laser projects. 

High density foam is a great material to use for modelling as it machines quickly and produces good surface detail. 

HIPS is suitable for routing or vacuum forming. Hips can also be laser cut but does not produce a good finish as it melts and then solidifies. 

This type of ply uses natural glue in its construction which makes it suitable for laser cutting. 

Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF)  

The centre does not keep a stock of metal. Therefore any school wishing to machine or engrave metal should bring their own material which has been pre cut to size. 

Paper and card can be used to make models and templates. 

Plywood is suitable for routing. Special ply is also available for laser cutting. 

Thin Polypropylene flexible plastic sheet for laser cutting 

Slate can be etched using the laser cutter to create fantastic image effects 

These standard mugs can be used for vinyl transfer and are great for primary CAD/CAM activities. 

Cotton T and sweat shirts can be used for vinyl heat transfer and digital embroidery. 

Commonly known as Styrofoam, Foamed Polystyrene is an inexpensive material that can be used for routing. The foam can be machined quickly and does not blunt tooling. The foam also gives a good surface finish. Styrofoam has a slightly squidgy feel and will deform if pressed hard, making it unsuitable for producing moulds for vacuum forming. 

These fabric sublimation coasters can have images and photos printed on them. They are available in both square and round shapes. 

These plastic disk key rings are coated with a polyester resin that make them suitable for printing using sublimation. 

These fabric Mouse Mats are suitable for sublimation printing. 

Thes standard white ceramic mugs have a polyester coating that enables ink transfer. 

These white T-Shirts are specially made for sublimation printing. 

This vinyl can be applied to fabrics using the heat press.
